Narconon Vistabay Drug and Alcohol Rehab Communication Courses

Narconon Vista Bay understands that a key reason why many people rely on drugs and alcohol is because of their incapability to successfully connect with the world around them. This may be because of a lack of self-esteem, self-confidence or a variety of issues that a person may face in his life. This is why education about good communication is so important to the Narconon Vista Bay drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.

At Vista Bay drug treatment centers, we trust that if a person stops using drugs or alcohol, but doesn’t have appropriate communication skills, the chance of relapse is extremely high. The inability to communicate honestly or willingly can lead one to clash with others. Also, if one does not know how to successfully communicate his ideas, he can develop frustration and feelings of defeat. This may be enough of a motive for a former addict to decide to start using drugs or alcohol again.

Narconon Vista Bay ensures that students learn good communication skills to make positive that they develop the self-confidence and presence of mind to get the most out of the program. Narconon Vista Bay uses one-on-one drills to improve attention and demonstrate how one should confront challenging circumstances. Our students will learn how to resolve conflict with good communication skills rather than destructive conduct.

The Narconon Vistabay drug and alcohol rehab communication classes are a vital part of our program. Learning how to communicate along with all that Narconon Vista Bay has to offer will give you your sense of purpose back and put you on the road to happiness.

Narconon Drug Rehab Receives Recognition

We recently received a proclamation from the City of Salinas, California for our outstanding community service. In recent years, we have been attending fairs, high schools and middle schools in Salinas to help their youth receive the truth about drugs.

In schools, kids are being educated about drugs to ensure that they are making positive and healthy choices about their lives and futures.

This last year at the Monterey County Fair, we delivered over three thousand "Truth About Drugs" booklets. Many families were so grateful that they took the time to introduce themselves and thank us for helping keep their kids off drugs.

Drug rehab stays can be avoided with the proper drug education. By teaching our kids and speaking to them openly about the dangers of drug abuse, they will be more likely to say no when confronted with drugs.

If you or someone you love is struggling with drugs or alcohol, please get help from an in patient drug rehab today. It is never too late to get your life back!

Vista Bay Celebrates Recovery Month 2010

Narconon Vista Bay joins the rest of the drug and alcohol treatment industry each year to celebrate Recovery Month. The National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month is observed each September.

Recovery Month is intended to highlight the social benefits of recovery organizations. It shares help from recovery specialists and gets the message of rehabilitation to the community. Recovery Month also tries to inspire people to help out so we can expand and improve treatment for alcohol and drug addiction. Each year a new theme is chosen to bring emphasis to different sections of the alcohol and drug recovery business.

Each September, thousands of recovery programs like Narconon Vista Bay rehab join together to honor people in rehabilitation and those devoted specialists who help them. People and programs are asked to share their experiences with the public, and assist in educating the community regarding alcohol and drug recovery, and enlighten them on how it works. Experts in recovery have saved and changed the lives of uncountable amounts of U.S. citizens. By celebrating Recovery Month, we are honoring these achievements.

Recovery Month is also a means to teach the community about the crisis of addiction. It proves that addiction can be cured and that recovery is possible. The benefits of recovery for the person, family, friends, workplace and the community are showcased demonstrating how addiction and rehabilitation affects everyone and everything. By teaching the world about addiction and recovery, the shame connected to it is lessened and backing for recovery programs increases.
